تلقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اتصالاً هاتفياً من الرئيس سيريل رامافوزا رئيس جنوب أفريقيا، تناول تبادل وجهات النظر بشأن الوضع الإقليمي الراهن والتصعيد العسكري الإسرائيلي في قطاع غزة، حيث توافق الرئيسان بشأن ما يمثله الوضع الحالي من خطورة وتهديد للاستقرار الإقليمي، على نحو يستوجب خفض التوتر ونزع فتيل العنف، مع توفير الحماية الفورية للمدنيين، ورفض الحصار الجماعي والتهجير، مؤكدين ضرورة توفير النفاذ الآمن والعاجل للمساعدات الإغاثية إلى أهالي غزة في ضوء تدهور أوضاعهم الإنسانية إلى حد حافة الكارثة، وقد عرض السيد الرئيس الجهود المضنية التي تقوم بها مصر في هذا الخصوص.

وأوضح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن السيد الرئيس استعرض كذلك جهود مصر لحشد المجتمع الدولي نحو التوافق حيال دفع مسار السلام على أساس حل الدولتين، وفق مرجعيات الشرعية الدولية ذات الصلة.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from President of the Republic of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa,

The two Presidents exchanged views on the current regional situation and the Israeli military escalation in the Gaza Strip. President El-Sisi and the South African President concurred on the gravity of the current situation and the threat it poses to regional stability, which necessitates reducing tension and defusing the violence, while providing immediate protection to civilians and rejecting mass siege and displacement. They underscored the urgent need to provide immediate and safe access for humanitarian assistance and relief to the people in the Gaza Strip, given the deteriorating humanitarian conditions, which are now on the verge of a catastrophe. President El-Sisi reviewed Egypt’s relentless efforts in this regard.

President El-Sisi also reviewed Egypt’s efforts to mobilize the international community toward consensus on pushing forward the peace track, based on the two-state solution and in accordance with the relevant terms of reference of international legitimacy.
