تلقى السيد الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي اتصالاً هاتفياً من الرئيس البرازيلي لولا دا سيلفا، حيث جرى التباحث حول مختلف أبعاد الأوضاع الأمنية والإنسانية المتردية في قطاع غزة، وتطورات التصعيد العسكري الجاري، وذلك في ضوء الرئاسة البرازيلية الحالية لمجلس الأمن الدولي.

وأوضح المتحدث باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن الرئيسين توافقا بشأن أهمية تعزيز التنسيق للجهود الدولية والإقليمية لوقف التصعيد. كما استعرض السيد الرئيس نتائج الاتصالات التي تقوم بها مصر مع جميع الأطراف لدفع جهود التهدئة، وتوفير النفاذ الآمن والعاجل للمساعدات الإنسانية إلى قطاع غزة، مؤكداً ضرورة تحمل المجتمع الدولي مسؤولياته في هذا الصدد.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

The call focused on the various dimensions of the security situation and the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip. They also discussed developments in the ongoing military escalation, in light of Brazil’s current presidency of the UN Security Council.

The two Presidents agreed on the importance of strengthening coordination of regional and international efforts to stop the escalation. President El-Sisi reviewed the outcome of Egypt’s contact with all parties to advance efforts toward calm and toward providing a safe and urgent access to humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip. The President underscored the need for the international community to assume its responsibilities in this regard.
