تلقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اتصالاً هاتفياً من السيد مارك روته، رئيس وزراء هولندا، تناول التطورات الجارية في قطاع غزة والتصعيد الخطير بين الجانبين الفلسطيني والإسرائيلي خلال الأيام الماضية، حيث توافق الجانبان على خطورة النزاع الحالي لتبعاته الإنسانية الكبيرة على حياة المدنيين، فضلاً عن امتداد تداعياته الأمنية والسياسية إلى المنطقة برمتها. وقد شدد السيد الرئيس على أن مصر مستمرة في مساعيها للدفع بجهود إقليمية ودولية منسقة لحث جميع الأطراف على تبني مسار التهدئة وخفض التصعيد والعمليات العسكرية، مؤكدا أن تسوية القضية الفلسطينية عن طريق السلام العادل والدائم هو سبيل تحقيق الاستقرار والأمن في المنطقة.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte. The President and the Dutch Prime Minister discussed the ongoing developments in the Gaza Strip and the dangerous escalation between the Palestinians and Israelis over the past days.

The two sides agreed on the gravity of the current conflict, given its formidable humanitarian consequences as well as its security and political repercussions that will extend to the entire region. President El-Sisi reiterated that Egypt is continuing its endeavors to advance coordinated regional and international efforts to urge all parties to adopt the path of calm and de-escalation and reduce military operations. He emphasized that settling the Palestinian issue through just and lasting peace is the way to achieving security and stability in the region.
