الحرص المتبادل بين الجانبين على مواصلة تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية في مختلف المجالات بين روسيا ومصر

استقبل السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اليوم وفداً روسياً رفيع المستوى ضم كل من السيد "دينيس مانتوروف" نائب رئيس الوزراء وزير التجارة والصناعة الروسي، والسيد "ميخائيل بوجدانوف" الممثل الخاص للرئيس الروسي، بالإضافة إلى نائب وزير التجارة والصناعة الروسي، ونائب رئيس البنك المركزي الروسي، وسفير روسيا بالقاهرة.

كما حضر اللقاء من الجانب المصري الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي رئيس مجلس الوزراء، والدكتورة رانيا المشاط وزيرة التعاون الدولي، والدكتور محمد معيط وزير المالية، والمهندس أحمد سمير وزير التجارة والصناعة.

وصرح المستشار أحمد فهمي المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية بأن اللقاء شهد تأكيد الحرص المتبادل بين الجانبين على مواصلة تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية في مختلف المجالات، والاعتزاز بالعلاقات الثنائية الوثيقة والصداقة التاريخية بين الشعبين المصري والروسي.

وفي ذلك الإطار، تناول اللقاء بحث العلاقات الاقتصادية المصرية الروسية التي يدعمها الإطار العام للشراكة الاستراتيجية بين الدولتين، وهو الإطار الذي يوفر آليات ثنائية مختلفة للتعاون، بما في ذلك اللجنة المشتركة بين البلدين للتعاون التجاري والاقتصادي والعلمي والفني، التي تنعقد دورتها الرابعة عشرة حالياً بالقاهرة، بما يسهم في تعزيز العلاقات الاقتصادية والاستثمارية والتجارية بين مصر وروسيا.

وأضاف المتحدث الرسمي أن اللقاء تناول كذلك تطورات الاستثمارات الروسية والمشروعات المشتركة في مصر في العديد من المجالات، لاسيما ما يتعلق بإنشاء محطة الضبعة للطاقة النووية، وكذا إقامة المنطقة الصناعية الروسية في المنطقة الاقتصادية بقناة السويس، والتي ستمهد الطريق للبدء في مشروعات للتصنيع المشترك وتوطين الصناعة والتصدير إلى أسواق العديد من الدول في مناطق جغرافية مختلفة، فضلاً عن مناقشة التعاون في مجال توريد الحبوب والغذاء في ضوء الأزمة العالمية الراهنة في هذا الصدد.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a high-level delegation from the Russian Federation, which included Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr. Denis Manturov, Special Representative of the Russian President, Mr. Mikhail Bogdanov as well as the Russian Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, the Vice President of the Russian Central Bank and the Ambassador of the Russian Federation.

The meeting was also attended by Prime Minister, Dr. Moustafa Madbouly; Minister of International Cooperation, Dr. Rania Al-Mashat; Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohamed Maait and Minister of Trade and Industry, Eng. Ahmed Samir.

Spokesman for the Presidency, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, stated that during the meeting the two sides underscored mutual commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations in various fields. They also valued the close bilateral relations and historical friendship between the Egyptian and Russian peoples.

The meeting focused on Egyptian-Russian economic relations, which are supported by the general framework of the strategic partnership between the two countries. This framework provides various bilateral mechanisms for cooperation, including the Egyptian-Russian Joint Committee for Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, which is currently holding its 14th session in Cairo, thus contributing to strengthening economic, investment and trade relations between Egypt and the Russian Federation.

The discussions also tackled developments of Russian investments and joint ventures in Egypt in an array of fields, particularly the construction of the nuclear power plant in El Dabaa, as well as the establishment of the Russian Industrial Zone in the Suez Canal Industrial Zone. The zone is set to pave the way for starting joint manufacturing projects, the localization of industry and export to a markets in different geographical regions. The meeting also focused on cooperation in the supply of grain and food, in light of the current global crisis.
